Job Description
Our client, a well established and respected business information provider with offices worldwide are seeking experienced Production Managesr to head up a team of conference producers developing events in the pharmaceutical sector. (Singapore role) and Energy/Mining sectors (Sydney role)
The Production Manager role requires a strong product focus combined with the patience and administrative skills to hire, train and develop new producers. The PM will manage a team of conference producers and be responsible for generating topics for their team.
Key responsibilities: - Topic generation and scheduling for the team - Hiring and training new producers, whilst minimizing turnover - Maintaining productivity and lead times across the team - Telephone researching and personally verifying all topics before they are scheduled - Writing topic briefs - Overseeing the sponsorship and marketing strategies for all events - Capitalizing on growth opportunities for established events - Developing high performing producers - Assist in development and delivery of structured training for the whole production team - Proofing of all sales copy, editorial, brochure text; research and content direction - Ensuring the project comes in on time and that every deadline is met
Performance Goals - Ability to successfully recruit, retain and develop a team - Demonstrated ability to problem solve and deal with personnel issues independently - Has successfully generated topics for each member of team - Initiated, launched and executed profitable launch events - Trained a producer from start of first event cycle through completion of second event cycle and managed them onsite - Demonstrate an instrumental role in securing and growing sponsorship revenue - All team members to meet basic performance measures
